Everyone goes Tayaab’s, its been
a restaurant in East London that had been recommended multiple times, we went
at a really busy time therefore it felt suffocating being in their as there was
so many people and smoke everywhere. The food was just standard curry with rice
didn’t really have any flavour it was so bland with no heat and the price was
astonishing. It was too pricey for the cheeky amount of rice and curry they had
given. However I really enjoyed the salad, it was free and fresh. I rather
stick to uncle who sells cheap biryani from home in his little booth at the
corner of the road.

I eat curry every fucking day and wanted curry but this was
just normal curry nothing stood out, the customer service was really poor they
didn’t give us the same treatment as the did with the white people, food was overpriced
and everything was expensive. Understanding that for a curry shop it is well
known, however I’ve had biryani for £2.50, which tasted better than their
biryani for £8.00. It was way overpriced with small portions, if they had given
bigger portions then it would have been ok. The restaurant itself felt
suffocating and hot, the food in general was really good but it just wasn’t
enough for one person let alone two.
